Non-surgical nose enhancement, also known as liquid rhinoplasty or a non-surgical nose job, is a minimally invasive aesthetic procedure that temporarily refines and reshapes the nose using dermal fillers.
It’s a great alternative for individuals who don’t want to have a downtime of surgery, this technique offers a convenient alternative to traditional rhinoplasty.
It is performed in one office visit with Dr Dragana and provides you with results that can last for 6 months.
While it offers impressive aesthetic benefits, it’s important to note that non-surgical nose enhancement does have certain limitations compared to its surgical counterpart.
The usual type of non-surgical nose enhancement is done with dermal fillers, which are carefully injected into different areas of your nose to improve small irregularities.
Dermal fillers are made of a gel-like substance, hyaluronic acid, which adds volume when they are injected just underneath your skin.
You might be a good candidate for this treatment if you want to add volume to your nose, improve the tip of the nose, smooth out bumps, make your nose more symmetrical, or straighten a slightly crooked nose.
This treatment might be beneficial for you if you want to make small changes to your nose or see how some enhancements might look like before you choose surgical rhinoplasty.
You are not a good candidate for non-surgical nose enhancement if you want to make your nose smaller.
Non-surgical nose enhancement is an effective non-surgical procedure that can temporarily improve the shape of your nose. It is a quick procedure that offers immediate results and doesn’t require downtime.
Since it is a non-surgical procedure, there are not cuts or scars. Also if you are not happy with the results, they can be reversed.
After the numbing cream is applied, the actual non-surgical nose enhancement procedure typically lasts about just few minutes.
Topical numbing cream is typically used.
Since this procedure is minimally invasive, it carries minimal risks of redness, swelling, bruising, migration of injected dermal fillers and discomfort.
However, since the nose is filled with blood vessels and close to the eyes, non-surgical nose enhancement is a bit more complicated than other dermal filler treatments. Therefore it should be performed by a skilled plastic surgeon like Dr. Dragana Spica to avoid more serious risks, including:

Non-surgical nose enhancement is generally well tolerated. Some patients say the injections feel like a slight pinching of the skin.
Generally, there is no downtime after non-surgical nose enhancement. You can resume your daily routine right away.
You may experience mild swelling, redness or bruising at the injection sites, which should resolve very quickly.
Just avoid strenuous exercise and sleep in a slightly elevated position in the first couple of days.
After the procedure, wearing sunglasses or eyeglasses should be avoided for the first 72 hours to prevent pressure on the treated area and ensure optimal results.
Dr Dragana recommends avoiding exercise for the next 3 days after the procedure.
You should pay attention to the presence of bruising and swelling. Inform Dr. Spica if you experience extensive swelling or pain.
