Male breast reduction / gynecomastia

Gynecomastia surgery or male breast reduction is a procedure that removes excess breast tissue, skin and fat.

If you are bothered with large male breast and you want to improve your self-confidence and physical appearance you may consider gynecomastia surgery.

The result of this surgery is more masculine looking chests. Another result is improved posture and reduced discomfort of having enlarged male breasts.

What are the different types of gynecomastia surgery?

Gynecomastia surgery can be performed using liposuction, surgical excision or both types in combination.

Liposuction is used if enlarged male breasts consist only of fat tissue.

Excision or combined technique is used if the enlarged male breasts consist of glandular tissue, fat deposits and excess skin.

Who is a good candidate for gynecomastia surgery?

Men who feel insecure about their enlarged male breasts are ideal candidates for gynecomastia surgery. This is especially true for men who have tried to reduce and sculpt their chests by exercising and eating a proper diet but haven’t achieved successful results.

Men who can benefit from gynecomastia surgery should be in good general health and without any medical issues. Also, they need to have a BMI of less than 30.

The best candidates for this surgery are adolescent men who have developed gynecomastia.

Gynecomastia is an effective surgical procedure which can significantly improve the appearance of male chest in their shape, size and symmetry.

Once the excess breast tissue is reduced, you won’t feel any discomfort or pain. You will be able to run, jump and do activities you were uncomfortable with before.
